Autumn Stream

As you walk along the bank of the stream, your eyes search for a lurking rainbow trout.  Your hand grips your son's to keep him from running away, but you allow him to lead you into the underbrush exploring things familiar to your boyhood, but brand new to him.  You find a youngster's excitement as you locate the trout and point it out to your son.  Passing memories to your son that your father passed to you.

Appalachian Mist 

The morning mist, so prevalent in the Blue Ridge and the Smokies, drifts upward from each valley separating the hills, one from another. The spring-fed lake is interrupted only by the occasional trout breaking the surface to gobble down a Mayfly.  You'll need a sweater on such a day until the sun burns off the cloud cover.
